The Textiles department Fashion Show took place this morning in the Croston Theatre, where our incredibly talented GCSE and A-level Textiles students presented their designs to a proud audience of parents, staff and students.
This year, students took inspiration from a number of styles including futuristic fashion, corsetry and traditional African tribal wear.
Pre-show, the Textiles department was a hive of activity as students helped each other get into their outfits, last minute alterations were made and each outfit was photographed for their portfolios.
The designs were modelled either by the students who created them, or by a willing friend in the catwalk show, and this year the creations were truly impressive.
Well done to all the girls who took to the stage, we will look out for their designs on the pages of the world’s fashion magazines in the very near future!
