In January, Upper Sixth Former Hope Carr-Oddie applied to the IBM degree apprenticeship scheme; she had to complete two online tests: one a numerical reasoning and one a personality test. Having passed those, she then completed an online interview which she also passed. During February half term, she travelled to London for an assessment centre day at IBM. Here she had to present a pre-prepared presentation, complete two observed group activities; a personal interview and a business interview.
Two weeks later, she received an offer, confirming that she will be joining IBM as a technology degree apprentice in September, based in Manchester. Such a competitive and rigorous process with a super prestigious outcome; congratulations Hope, we are delighted for you and also very proud!
