Year 12 students went to visit the fashion exhibition at the V&A in the city of London. The exhibition was very thought provoking and an excellent source of primary research for the students. The overall message was to consider how the clothes we wear are damaging the environment. They were able to see new technologies which are being developed to tackle environmental issues and watch commentaries from designers like Vivienne Westwood.
We then visited the Science and Industry Museum to view the technical and smart material before finishing off the trip and visiting Harrods and Harvey Nichols to gain inspiration for the students design development.
